About Friends of Kodo

"Friends of Kodo" is dedicated to bringing Kodo closer to our audience and fellow taiko enthusiasts. Membership is available to all. As well as receiving the latest information by postal mail, members also get special advance ticket reservations for selected concerts in Japan, the chance to buy original goods available only to them, and selected discounts on a range of Kodo goodies.

Joining Friends of Kodo

If you would like to join as a Group A or Group B member (see below for details), please use the payment form to pay by credit card. Please note that all prices are in yen, and the dollar amount billed to your credit card will be based on the exchange rate at the time your order is processed. Upon receiving your payment we will send you a membership card and the latest information from Kodo.

We also offer this service in Japanese. A Japanese newsletter is available. (8-20 page / monthly). Please click the below link for details.

Kodo no Kai (in Japanese)

Until May 2011, Friends of Kodo members received our quarterly English newsletter Kodo Beat. This publication has been replaced by Kodo eNews, which can be subscribed to online. Back issues of both publications are also available on our website.
