Eiichi Saito joined Kodo in 1982 and has been a featured performer on domestic and international tours, in collaborations with artists of various genres, and on recordings ever since. For over three decades he has invigorated and captivated audiences worldwide with his energetic performances. In addition to his stage activities, Eiichi also leads the extremely popular "Kodo Juku" workshops on Sado Island, which convey the power of taiko through self-discovery.
